The 2025 Football cheer season ended this past month, with the entire team having a blast–including the new freshmen.
One of the top highlights was coming together for the practice and putting great routines together. The girls practiced their cheers at home, so when they came together it gave a better sense of what they were doing, being able to help each other with things they are confused about.
Something the girls enjoy working on is their stunts to show to the crowd, and get the team hyped up to win the game.
The team would do fun activities to help them prepare to hype the boys up at the game, like bonding with their team. This was a good way to get to get better as a team. These activities helped them to see each other like a family.
Another highlight from the season was the girls using all they practiced for to encourage the football team to bring home a win.
Freshman Brynnley Luther said, “It’s… really fun because it’s like a big family. We love our coach! We also do team building activities sometimes.”
Another highlight for the team members was the football games. The team loved the bus rides to the games, hyping each other up to cheer the boys on.
When it was game mornings, they would hype the crowd and the boys up to win the game.
This Cheer season gave the girls a chance to have fun while doing the sport they love. They also bonded with other girls around them while doing the things they love as a team.
This wraps up the freshman first high school cheer season. The team enjoyed time with their newfound family and girls they could be best friends with for the rest of their years in high school.
